Front End Engineer
Worked with a team of student engineers from the University of Denver in the development of a webbased application using ReactJS to build an online platform streamlining the process for landscape designers to deliver custom designs to their clients.
TOWERIQ, BOSTON MA (JUNE 2018 – AUGUST 2018)
Front End Engineering Intern
Worked on the creation and development of TowerIQ’s website using HTML, SCSS, and JavaScript.
Launched the custom website ahead of schedule, while acting as the company’s sole engineer.
Using ReactJS, began the construction of the TowerIQ web-based application, a portal designed to streamline the insurance quoting process for insurance brokers, carriers and clients.
Continuously gave feedback and recommendations to the CEO and COO regarding the development of the company software and web-pages.
Learned the about the process of starting a software company, from finding investors to creating the products.

Research Assistant
Assisted Dr. Toshiya Ueta in the research of planetary nebulae with the goal of helping measure the amount of cold matter in planetary nebulae circumstellar envelopes within the Milky Way Galaxy.
Used SAOImage DS9 to analyze images taken by the AKARI Infrared Astronomical Satellite.

Responsible for examining all suspicious emails and classifying such emails as phishing attempts, spam, or legitimate corporate emails.

Offered to create an application for the firm to help local companies, as well as gain publicity and contacts for the firm.
Recruited another engineer to help begin construction of application.
Created a java-based application that was distributed to local companies, helping small businesses comply with the changes in Massachusetts earned sick-time law by allowing managers to track hours worked, sick-time hours earned, and sick-time hours used by each of their employees.
